Education and Expertise:
I have an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and I am the 2020 recipient of the Norma Fox Mazer Award, which honors excellence in craft. I write in multiple genres and forms, but my main loves are horror, historical fiction, fantasy, and novels in verse for teens and adults.
I’m a judge for the popular online writing platform NYC Midnight and a graduate of the highly-competitive AWP mentorship program.
My professional memberships include The Author’s Guild (AG), the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), PEN America, and the Editorial Freelancer’s Association (EFA).
